Last updated 17 August 2026. These terms apply to everyone who uses Fancall — both the person who creates a call and the person who joins it.
Fancall is a timer with a video connection attached. Someone creates a call of a set length, sends a one-time link, the other person taps it, both see a countdown, and the call ends by itself at zero.
That is the whole service. Fancall does not host, record, store, publish, review, or distribute any video, audio, image, or message from a call. Video and audio travel directly between the two devices wherever possible; for connections that cannot go directly, they pass through a relay server that carries them and immediately forgets them. Nothing from a call is ever written down.
A creator can also publish a simple page where someone can ask them for a call and exchange a few written messages to arrange it. Those messages exist to set up one call: they pass through the server, are held only in memory while the conversation is open, and are gone when it ends or the service restarts. They are not stored, and this is not a messaging service. What a creator puts on their page is theirs to choose and theirs to answer for; we do not review pages, we do not list or promote them anywhere, and we can remove a page that impersonates someone or breaks these terms.
Fancall handles no money, sells nothing, and takes no cut of anything.
By creating an account or joining a call, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and legally an adult where you live.
Fancall does not verify anyone's age. The 18+ confirmation is your statement, not a check we perform. It is not age verification and we do not describe it as such. If we learn that someone under 18 has used Fancall, we will close the account immediately and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children as federal law requires.
Any money paid for a call is a transaction between the two people involved, on some other platform. Fancall is not a party to it. We do not set prices, take a cut, hold funds, process payments, or issue refunds.
If a call did not happen, ran short, was cut off by a bad connection, or was not what someone expected — that is between the two of you and the platform you paid on. We cannot resolve it, we will not act as a go-between, and we owe no refund because we received no payment.
We do not endorse, vet, screen, or vouch for anyone who uses Fancall, in either direction, and we do not control what anyone does on a call.
Fancall enforces a duration chosen by the person who created the call. It has no idea what was paid, what was promised, or what either person expected. A call ending at zero, being ended early, being cut short by a network problem, or failing to connect at all creates no obligation on Fancall and no right to anything from us.
Time lost to connection problems is not credited or extended. Reconnecting resumes the original countdown.
Fancall does not record calls. We never have and the service is built so that we cannot.
We cannot prevent the other person from recording. Anyone on a call can run screen-recording software or simply point another phone at their screen. No video app — including this one — can stop that, detect it, or tell you it happened. We do not claim otherwise. Do not assume a call is private, and do not show anything you would not want kept.
Recording another person without their consent is a crime in California and in a number of other states, and can carry substantial civil damages. Whether a recording is lawful is a matter between the two people on the call. Fancall is not responsible for recordings made by either party, and has no way to detect, block, retrieve, or delete them.
You may not use Fancall:
We cannot see into calls, so we do not monitor them and we make no claim to. We do not read the messages people exchange to arrange a call either — they are relayed and not stored, so there is nothing for us to read later. What we can do is act on reports. See section 7.
If someone has used Fancall against these terms, or if intimate images of you have been shared without your consent, email abuse@fancall.gg. See our reporting page for what to include.
We read that inbox and we act on it. Because we store no call content and no messages, we usually have nothing to take down — a report about something said in a message should include what was said, because we will not have a copy. What we can and do act on: closing accounts, killing outstanding links, removing a creator's page, and reporting suspected child sexual exploitation to the authorities.
We may suspend or terminate anyone's access to Fancall at any time, for any reason, in our sole discretion, with or without notice. In practice we do this for violations of these terms, credible abuse reports, or legal requirements.
You can stop using Fancall at any time. Creators can ask us to delete their account and we will.
Fancall is provided "as is" and "as available," with no warranties of any kind — none express, none implied. That specifically includes availability, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and quality.
Video calling over the internet is unpredictable. Connections fail, phone networks degrade, browsers change, and a call may not connect at all. We do not promise uptime, call quality, or that any particular call will work.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Fancall will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or emotional distress.
Our total liability to you for any and all claims is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you actually paid Fancall in the twelve months before the claim arose, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fancall and the people who operate it from claims, liabilities, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from your misuse of the service in breach of these terms or of applicable law.
These terms are between you and Fancall. Nobody else gets rights under them. In particular, a person who paid a creator on another platform has no claim against Fancall arising out of the creator's agreement with us.
The ideas board is for creators only. If you post there, you allow us to display, store, edit, and act on what you post, and to share shipped ideas publicly. Posting creates no obligation for us to build anything and no ownership or compensation for you.
Your name is never shown to other creators — only the idea is. It is not anonymous to us: we can see who posted what. Do not put anything private, identifying, or sensitive in a post.
Fancall transmits live communications between users. It does not produce, host, record, store, select, or alter any visual depiction, and is therefore not a producer under 18 U.S.C. § 2257(h)(3)(B) or 28 C.F.R. § 75.1(c)(4). Anyone who creates a recorded depiction is solely responsible for their own obligations under those laws.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court instead.
Any claim must be brought within one year of when it arose, or it is permanently barred.
Claims must be brought individually. You and Fancall each waive any right to bring or participate in a class, collective, or representative action. If that waiver is unenforceable where you are, it is severed and the rest of this section still applies.
We may update these terms. The "last updated" date at the top changes when we do, and continuing to use Fancall after that means you accept the new version. If a change is significant we will say so on the creator page.
If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still stands. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Fancall about the service.
